What I Would Do Differently with My Wedding Plans
Wedding Planner or a Day of Coordinator
I didn’t have a planner, and that meant that...
My family and friends were left with the task of setting everything up and taking everything down from the wedding.
If I had to do it all over again, I would have hired a wedding planner, or at least a day of coordinator to take care of all those things. It definitely would have cut down on the stress!

My wedding was a shabby-chic meets rustic theme. I spent countless hours going to estate sales, thrift stores, and antique stores collecting décor. We are talking containers full of stuff! While I loved the end result—it was totally me—
I had no idea that I could rent furniture and décor to match my wedding theme! Seriously.
Had I known that, I could have saved myself time and money! Call my bubbly, sweet friend Christy from CeCe Designs + CeCe Décor. Her warehouse is full of furniture and décor that you can rent to match any wedding theme you have!
So there you have it—secrets and regrets of a wedding pro, exposed! While I can’t take back the major regrets from my own wedding, you can make sure that you don’t make my mistakes.
Most importantly, just enjoy being engaged and the planning process. You only get to plan your wedding together once. Take some time to soak in the whole wedding day and enjoy yourself. Make time to slip away together after the ceremony and try to make mental notes to remember the day.
At the end of the day you’ve married the love of your life, and that is what matters most! I wish you both blessings on your new lives together. Enjoy the journey of being a newlywed, because it truly is the most exciting time of your life. Cheers to a new beginning!
