Sweet summertime is here again! That means it’s wedding season, and here in Alabama it’s already H-O-T!
If you’re planning an outdoor wedding, check out a few tips to keep your guests (and your wedding vendors) cool this summer!
Bottles of Water
Create a water station for guests to get a bottle of water before your ceremony starts. For an added touch, you could even create your own labels with your names and wedding date to put on the bottle of water.
Another idea to cool off your guests is with a beverage station with drink choices such as: water, sweet tea and lemonade in individual beverage dispensers. This would be an added touch to your ceremony décor.
Instead of a groom’s cake, why not have popsicles instead? With Steel City Pops, you can choose a variety of popsicle flavors. They even brought a cute cart at my friend's wedding! The popsicle bar is a novelty, and it’ll be something your guests remember. Make sure to try the Sweet Tea Pop—it’s my fave!
Have you ever seen an ice cream bar at a wedding reception? I think it’s a fun, unique idea for your wedding reception! Who doesn’t like ice cream, right?! You could pick two or three ice cream flavors, and then make a spread of various toppings. Or even have cookies at the bar so guests can create their own ice cream sandwich... (Summer party ideas are spinning in my head now!) Wedding guests of all ages will surely approve!
